Shelley Gill, children's author, visited the Fairbury Public Library recently to talk about her books and the importance of reading and writing in the lives of children. Ms. Gill's home is in Alaska and many of her books are about animals and events from that state. Her titles we have at the library are
"Big Blue", "Danger the Dog Yard Cat", "Alaska's Three Bears" and "Thunderfeet, Alaska's Dinosaurs".
